~Christmas Greetings From Trinidad~

Contributed by Jenni_K on Thursday, 18th December 2008 @ 09:25:26 PM in AEST
Topic: Holiday Poetry

~~xXx~~

Holiday Greetings I send to you,
From my island of sun and sand.
While most of you are freezing your butts off,
I’ll be getting tanned..

Happy holidays to one and all,
I hope you will enjoy the cold.
I know it can be lots of fun,
At least that’s what I’ve been told.

All of life’s blessing I wish you
For the coming year.
May it be filled with love and laughter,
Health, happiness and good cheer.

So from my tiny island,
My home, my sandy shores,
I wish that all your dreams come true
For you and for yours!!

~~xXx~~

Hello to all my YPDC friends. I just dropped in to wish you all a very happy holiday and all the best in the new year. I haven't been able to write or visit YPDC of late because I have been spending so much time with my new "grand-daughter" and helping my sis. Things have been very hectic.. But I have not forgotten you all and I miss reading all your wonderful work. Take care of yourselves..and have a great time!! I promise I will catch up real soon...
Love and hugs,
Jenni

Good on you Jenni and a cute ditty- although the cold is for our Northern neighbours. Australia is sweltering and I have to say I would take Trinidad over Sydney for my Xmas Holiday, it sounds so enticing.

Happy holiday and new year, island girl.

Spike
