I understand
That they don't care

As far I see

For what could have been
If I'm to die
It'd still be a sin
There was a chance
I could have won
They burned it all
I was done

Once before
That I could love
Thrown to the floor
Traitors they are
Every last one
For all they care

I've come to terms
Life's not fair

Who I am
That no one cares
Life's a scam
So alone
Left in the cold
All my dreams

Chances come and go, But to judge and pit ours against theirs leads to despair. and from a poem I read on this site...... when the fire settles from the ashes the Phoenix will rise.

Dynamite in small packages is the phrase that comes to mind when I read the poem. I have a special liking for poems that say a lot with a few words, that have short concise phrasing, and short lines. Regardless of topic, these sort of poems are what I like. It almost reads like a "stream of consiousness" writing. I enjoyed it.

I like the way you formatted this one. Short lines but very powerful with emotion. People suck but not all of us. I think it definitely helps to write about it. Hope it gets better.
