[hometext] => My fiance is in basic training right now. It's been about three weeks. I know that the next five weeks I wait just to see him for graduation will be worth the wait for just a weekend.

I'll kiss you for a while Before saying that "hello." I'll ask what it was like And ask how it will be, Hoping that you'll smile and say You're coming home with me... But you'll tell me what the next five months Will look like for "the plan." We'll share a lovely weekend 'Til we say goodbye again. I'll hold on to those kisses 'Til the next time that we meet, When I run to your embrace once more, As you sweep me off my feet. And I'll pray that somehow sooner Than we both anticipate, We'll find a way to be together And get rid of the wait.
