and push will come to shove.
Our moments like the grains of sand
scattering in blustering winds.

Fine lines, tight corners
roads coming to abrupt ends.
Threats and mistreatment
foe or a folly friend.

Giving it all
the heart the soul
the crystal tears
mixing with winters breath.
Dressing the world
beneath ones feet
in ice so cold ice so complete.

Thoughts lost
into the blackness of night.
Desert thirst
sand to stone
stone of spirit
stone of heart
Wave goodbye.......

Or not
like a moment
when the sun fades
light disperses
skies turn gray
and dust of night
scatters hearts
cold as stone
breaking like winters ice.

Wow...a very gripping write. I especially liked the stanza:

Giving it all
the heart the soul
the crystal tears
mixing with winters breath.
Dressing the world
beneath ones feet
in ice so cold ice so complete.

Great job. Thanks, as always, for sharing with us all.

Be well,
Loende

an incredibily intelligent poem. it had everything, imagery, flow, structure, all the ingredients for an excellent poem. the imagery in particular was out of this world. stunning, 5 stars from me.
