You hesitated to answer
He patiently waited
Through he knew the burden of your cancer
A sweeter wine he brought for you to taste
He was silent solemon inevitable known no haste
He tenderly took your hand knowing your pain
He felt that belong to a kinder world for in your world you could no longer remain
You walked arm in arm ironically as lovers do he was compassionate an he was gentle he meant you no harm for was walking you to only with delight [comments] => 3 [counter] => 170 [topic] => 55 [informant] => sidra [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )

This is such a beautiful and touching write. May you and your family find strength though your grief knowing that your step-father has no more pain. Thank you for posting it.

Be well,
Loende
