A

year

and forty one ago

while drifting in my

youth,

life

imparted in my soul

the meaning of it's

thruth.

It

all began amidst a life

of such imperfect schemes,

that lovely lady now my wife

solidified

my

dreams.

Where

an angel comes from

quite frankly i know not,

yet honestly i say

to

thee

an

angel's what i've

got.

A

stranger

from beyond somewhere

chose to be my girl,

she gave to me

loves special key

that would unlock

her

world.

With her presence

she would grace

slowly over time,

that part of me

known as her place

where poets write there

rhyme.

But

more than poems

we came to write

no words would we

reherse,

two lovers kissed

within the night

and wrote

the perfect

verse.

A

year and forty one ago

i met my destiny,

someone i didn't even know

gave

me,

eternity.

Ben

Wow, this poem shows much devotion and emotion, and how some things I suppose, just can't be shown in words, but we still try =). Wonderful write, good job.

I feel like a voyeur reading this
great piece here
I’d show it to the wife but then
she’d expect me to write one
with her as my inspiration (LOL)
