What does it all mean?
out of all I've seen
Nothing has any meaning
It's just there
Maybe it's that I just don't care

But what does it all mean
Life, death, god, and everything in between
I ask the questions that I can think to ask myself
But I draw a blank
I just can't think

What is the meaning of life?
Is death just death, do the dead just stay dead?
Is there really a god?
All this and more floating in my head
So many questions not enough time

I'll just go out of my mind
trying to find answers
But I think I've lost my sanity already
What does it all mean?

What does it all mean?
out of all I've seen

ah, the inevitable questions. if they had a simple answer, or an answer at all, i'm sure we would have found it by now. but we haven't, so the mystery goes on. a good, thoughtful poem.
