From divine gift of your precious love
One look of you gives my heart wings
Vision of heaven’s great promise thereof
~*~
Wit as the sting of thy vengeful sword
Thy vigilant scholar’s lamp always alight
Revise and toil for thy lifelong reward
As apprentice by day and mother by night
~*~
A prayer to be in thy most gracious of thought
Such simple request from thy onetime love
To see me without your feelings overwrought
To beam when seeing me and thinking thereof
~*~
Truly it is ye in all things that I have always seen
Thou shall forever haunt my every dream

Oh my goodness...that made me cry. It's beautiful. it's weighty. It's perhaps the most touching thing that I've read in some time and maybe more impacting because of the use of a style of language that has been lost to many for a lifetime and more. A great piece.

Be well,
Loende

Steve your emotion and love for Jeanine is hard to hide when you write
like this (which is often ^_^ ). The beauty of your muse kisses you so
gently that it would be impossible for you to write without enchantment.
This is one of the softest and most endearing pieces I've read by you.
Especially those last two lines ... *siiigh*

Beautiful, my friend ~
