Underneath the cross in which my broken heart is nailed upon
Carving the lilies of regret into my skin
Sacrificing my own soul for the salvation of her every sin
On bloody knees I pray for her
Raping myself of my own life
For her there is no death I will not endure
I've learned to find comfort inside the sorrow
Bleeding the love into the soil of her garden
Hoping to unstitch the evil that has poisoned these seeds
Giving all that embodys me despite what she cannot see
Feeding her tainted wounds the antidote of fidelity
Inside this world of lies she will always find the truth within me
An empire of flesh to rest her weary soul
Collecting the broken pieces of her heart just so I can keep her whole
Cradled tight under my vacant skies
I've cried a million tears just so I could see her fall from my eyes
Like angels descending from above
Feather by delicate feather
I'm stitching wings together from the threads of our existance
All the elements of our history that will never sever
Hoping someday that we fly away into the sanctity of forever
Until then I will continue to love her in ways beyond understanding
In the shadow of my broken heart and undying will
As I sit alone....inside her wicked garden.

Your writing is always so beautiful. This poem has a sincerity to it that is often hard to reflect when writing, but you managed to do it. Amazingly pretty.

peace xo
