[hometext] => In all the dark poetry I write, I am drawing on my experiences as a Law Enforcement Officer and receiving ideas from what others have actually said to me over the years! I am a happy go lucky guy who just tries to convey the anguish of others in verse
[bodytext] => I’m just a man without a job. With an ugly face, a big fat slob. With a little stick and no cigars. A hairy chest but no guitar. There’s nothing here one would desire. To make it worse, I am retired. I’m just a man no one could love. I should be shot, or from a bridge shoved. I really don’t care anymore to live. At my funeral they’ll dance carry on and laugh. At least they came to share, when alive they were nowhere. If I only had a gun, I could hurry, get it done. But a rope would just be fine, but i only could find twine. If I live another day, it’s just a hell that i must pay. For a wasted useless life, filled with pain and sin and strife. If you see my ugly face, then turn away in disgrace. I do it every day, at the mirror where I shave.
