- The End -

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I waited today watching the time,
I waited today till you were mine

As I worked my house and filled in the cracks,
pulling them nails and breaking my back

The time was near till you were here,
So I washed up my hands and belted a cheer

In my truck and off I ran,
And down the road to somewhere I land

As I pulled up and close to your house,
I see your little face in the window, And a smile from your mouth

Then out you run to me again,
Hi my Son, Your with Daddy let's begin

Our day was filled in cheers of joy,
We played at the park and swang once more

Then off we went to a lunch in town,
You said Daddy all I want, is you right now

So as the evening fell things got calm,
I watched your Mom pull up to end our song

And as you left I noticed and then,
I seen your teardrops fall,
The end.......
