Why?

Contributed by tinkbaby101 on Wednesday, 5th November 2008 @ 02:17:51 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

You break my heart
You said goodbye
You sat there and stared
I just cried
All I want to know is why
Why did you leave
What did I do
How come I fell for you
You didn't say why all was said in goodbye
You left me searching and the answer why
Hurt me the most
Never say you loved me
Never said your sorry
Why I cried you should know
Why I ignore you you'll never know

My heart breaks for you. Words are meaningless
to one whose heart is aching. But time does heal
old wounds, and their scars toughen the skin.
Keep writing. It's great therapy. Best wishes to you.
Blessings,
Robert Edgar "Lawdog" Burns

Whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Phillipians 4:8.
BLESSINGS,
Robert Edgar Lawdog Burns

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
