Until one window draws me in
There’s a sad young girl all by herself
She looks so familiar, with her fake little grin

I asked her why she seemed so sad
But she just mocked the things I said
I asked her not to do that
And my anger seemed to spread

She then told me I was worthless
And that I had no right to live
Then she told me I was a fool
And that I had nothing left to give

I asked her why she said these things
She said because it’s true
I stood there and I began to cry
But then she did too

I asked her why she was crying
She told me she was blue
So once again I asked her why
And she said “because I’m you” [comments] => 5 [counter] => 258 [topic] => 61 [informant] => CrimsonTears [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => selfstruggles )
