I'm still caged. but I don't have to be chained. This is about two people, just hard to write it that way, and keep the flow... [bodytext] => I ask you about the coming storm
You excuse it away as nothing
Dirt swept under the rug
I let go of a sigh
The phone rings
You turn your soul around
To make sure the cracks aren't showing
It's so sad the lies we tell
To get through a day
I wonder if you even know who you are
It's been so long since I saw you
Yet you're right in front of me
I love you, to the point of agony
But I have to love me to
And I can't save you
I must walk away
You're not going to understand
You'll resent me
Hopefully one day forgive
Maybe one day we can close this book
And laugh at these cracks
Instead of hide them

Yeah .. I'm with crow... I have to walk away for a moment also.
I dont know what to say... for the first time I'm speachless, usually I can collect myself and respond, but this has silenced me.

Love the tittle, and the way

it draws one in, it speaks

softly but with purpose and

inquisitivness, a lovely write

my friend . . .

*sigh*

Don't ya hate it when people try to invalidate your feelings?

This one floors me. These are the kinds of writes by you that I spoke of the other day. You write with such conviction and power it is amazing. It's also kinda scary in a way. *shudders* cause I'd hate to be on the receiving end. However, you are so full of understanding and compassion you can end it on a positive note: Hopefully one day forgive
Maybe one day we can close this book
And laugh at these cracks
Instead of hide them
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.

*incredibly huge hug*

Love,

Tim

True love is unconditional, without reservation, and
without any strings or performance quotas attached.
Like a parent loves a child, even when they misbehave.
Always standing behind them, even if it takes you to
hell and back. This kind of love, can no man chain!
It's porcelain is bonded over IRON!
Blessings,
Lawdog

Never more beautiful lines ever written.
Great stuff
