At this very moment…

Beneath my low and calmly voice—
Beneath the smoothness of my skin
Dwells the madness of such raging waves
From the bitter waters within.

Waves that crash against my helpless shore;
Against my soul’s own misery—
Against the sand that can’t rest in peace
Oh how troubled is this sea!

You cannot hear its angry roar;
A roar of a million screams
Five hundred thousand tormented wishes
And the same of starving dreams

All wanting to dine at the table of peace
And to drink from its hope, so new
And oh, how I’m dreading
The pleading
THE BEGGING
Of them all just wanting to come true.

They are moaning and groaning
And crying and trying
To find a way
They all can be free-
They bring me to shame
When they yell out my name
But it’s not me…
It’s NOT me
IT’S NOT ME!

Still, I carry the blame in the arms of my mind
And my heart, it carries such weight;
Useless cold bricks of wishes and dreams
Waiting, just waiting for their fate.

The screams are too loud.
The burden is too heavy.
And I am too weak to stand.
I fall and I cry,
“DON’T YOU SEE THAT I CAN’T?”
Yet this whisper replies, “Yes, you can.”

Pain fills my throat, and I feel I can’t speak
My tears won’t let them be free—
The words that I need to somehow escape;
They’re my prayer.
My hope.
My plea.

“Help me.”

I mutter these words in my weakest time
When drowning are wishes and dreams
Lost in the waters so cold and so raging--
Yet silenced now are their screams.

Their plates have been made
And their cups have been filled
With the promise of peace that hope gives
To calm such a soul,
To love such a soul
To hold such a soul, it will.

And now, at this very moment…

Beneath my low and calmly voice—
Beneath the smoothness of my skin
Dwells the peace of pure and soothing waves
From the serene waters within.

You took beauty is only skin deep and tuned it into a myriad of yearning, pain, emotional crisis within a maze of some damn great metaphors. Then, at last the turmoil subsided and that beauty found something... a peace within.

Least that's what it did for me. Very captivating.

Thank you for a great read,

Tim
