Remember the day way back when
The night was blind
But I could see your were a ten.
Our eyes met through blink of the eye and
Something sparked inside that I couldn’t deny
You latched me in with a pass of your smile
Ever since then you run through my mind
Every mile after mile.
You build my day up better and better
With you it’s a good day no matter the weather
If it rains it rains your smile will never leave
You have no idea what it’s like to believe
That someone can be this great and this fine
To the point where she sends chills down your spine
Anxiously you wait for her grace
To appear before you in this place
You worry she cancels but patience is a must
Then she enters with an explosion BUST!
Your nerves were ice but now are fire
Each tempting step is a burning desire
You lunge for the chair
She sits there
Playing with her hair
This one is rare
She shows care
You are now one pair
Her triumph is now here and will finally last
The days pass by way to fast
Until the day comes and it seems like too long
Through the tough times you have to stay strong
Just think about that day way back when
The day your eyes will finally meet again.
