Array ( [sid] => 145867 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Light and Dark [time] => 2008-10-23 17:10:14 [hometext] => A poem written from my head in my spare time. I hope you enjoy it. [bodytext] => Feel the dark closing in
The nightmare's about to begin
Open yourself to the pain
And let it in like rain

You always knew you couldn't win
A new world age you will begin
One of death and hate
There is no more need to wait

See the pain we are starting,
The crowds that we are parting
Feel the misery brought
and commands without thought

Hear the screams of the dead,
let them fill you head
Use the hatred and pain
Let it fill your veins.

Leave the darkness in your heart
No more will the crowds part
The evil inside you
Is welling out anew.

Should dark troops find purchase in your land
Know only that you all shall die by my hand
And that which you have, becomes mine
And, though you try, the light will never shine

Know this, your only hope is to start again
and surrender yourself to the pain
It will bind you and then release
Your soul returns piece by piece

On dreary futures and midnights past
Light and dark unite
And though the dice of fate are cast,
we still may win this fight. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 216 [topic] => 43 [informant] => deadIMPULSE [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

Thanks, I wote it on my profile in a game and I finally finished with that. I liked the last line the most.
