Together in the car
Keeping each other warm
As we drive so far.
Further and further from our worries
With no direction in which we go
Driving mindlessly
As all we do is think
Look at each other and wonder
Where will we be?
Where would we be?
And why? why? why?
You and me, baby.
That's all we need.
One another and we'll be happy.

Cold nights, together in the dark
Looking at the stars and swearing to leave a mark.
Streetlights mark your face
Oh, your breath I can taste
Head on my shoulder
As my heart is in your hand
Keeping you warm
For as long as I can.
Time stands still as we kiss under the moon
Snow falling all around, and all I see is you.
Stars above and snow all around.
Be my queen and take your crown.
Lord and lady of all we survey
Our little empire, nothing but a streetlight
A small puddle of illumination is enough
As our lives are entwined our future is bright.
In your arms. I could happily die tonight... [comments] => 3 [counter] => 223 [topic] => 48 [informant] => Thirten [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

What a story you are telling us, with a strong message. Amazing how two people can empower each other. The world stands still and suddenly the two of you can handle anything....
Thank you for sharing. I look forward to more from you
Smiles
