As we lose the ones we love
We are often left wondering why
No one wants to see them to leave
Or worse yet see them die
Everyone wants to ignore the concept
Dismiss of it any thought
Its that lingering deliberation
Sadness our hearts it doth fraught
Yet such a devastation that breaks our hearts
Can also bring great jubilation
Excitement and exultancy
Solace and expectation
We ponder how such thing is possible
How it can be so joyous one instant
Yet then as quickly as it happened
Such happiness doth seem distant
Many questions some are left with
Others merely forget and dismiss
But for those who doth wonder
The most important question is this
What name can be given to such a spectacle
With happiness, pain and strife
Some may wonder, some need'nt do so
This entity we speak of, is life.
