Lay me down
won't you?
Open this folded heart;
ead every page tonight;
Touch my shinning face
for it always gleams
in our candle light
Breathe onto my closed eyes
the gentle wind
that loves.
Hold my hand
in this night
transfering that love
hands can do.
Lay my skirt aside
flower-petal style
my blouse is milky
cloud white
and I see me
reflected in your dark eyes.
my universe begins to rise
and I
am lost inside you.
Suspend us on bedroom air
softly fluttering us in time
where we sail those loving seas
and land
in dark
velvet harbors
where we surrender
the You and I
to the We
that is our loving home.

I am a bit miffed nobody left a comment on this write.
The word usage is simply divine, a artful and lovely write.
I loved Velvet Harbors how romantic and poetic is that? Very. You are shining.
