Benevolent Heart

Contributed by iodinelove on Saturday, 11th October 2008 @ 01:59:20 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Draw forth, benevolent heart, lower your bow, suffer no more the sweet candescent tears of your passion, and consider the uncounted star and how it is the summit of my love for you, how the endless stretch of sand is diminished by my longing for you, how the twinkling sounds of silence endure my plea for you. I wish these words could stand for centuries before you, and scatter my soul across a thousand pages, awaiting you.
Of you, sweet tears, I ask only that you continue on, and seize upon what shame may pass before you, and give relief to all that kneel before you in their sorrow, and comfort those who are in need of you, and abstain from those who are dismayed in you.

abraham, this was incredible!! I am in awe of your words and meaning. There is
an enormous beauty surrounding this piece. Every sentence, every thought
had me sighing in admiration and agreement. Damn fine writing poet! When we
seek within ourselves we find SO much more than the world is exposed to,
or we the world, you know? The gentleness I find in this is exquisite.

Thank you for this. It is S T U N N I N G !

I agree with Breezy, this is a stunning piece of poetry.

I never been much of a fan of blocked poetry like this, but I found this to be one that was well done, and flowed quite nicely.

You are one of the only peopleon this site, in my opinion, who can write so well, so freely. Great write.
