But The Frown That's Forever On Her Face
Says Otherwise, It Tells A Different Story
About A Girl Who Should Be An Actress
Good At Making Believe And Putting On A Show

She's A True Romantic
But She's Never Been In Love
Never Had A Romance In Her Life
Every Night She Wishes Upon A Star
To Be Someone Else
So She Can Know
What It Feels Like To Be In Love
To Have Someone That Loves You And Cares For You
To Know What It's Like To Have A Soul Mate
Someone She Can Love And Connect With
Oh How She Wants This And Needs This

She's Tired Of Sitting At Home All By Herself
While Her Friends Are Out With Their Boyfriends
It Seems Like Everybody Has A Somebody
Like She's The Only One That Has Nobody
When She Sees All The Happy Couples Together
Tears Form In Her Eyes
Because Something Inside Her
Knows She Will Never Have That
She Wonders To Herself
Why Is It That I Don't Have This?
Why Is It Nobody Likes Me?
What Is Wrong With Me?

hmm, this is really sad, sometimes i think that the importance of relationships in our lives is exaggerated and that inner strength, self reliance and self determination are likewise demeaned, just a thought

lovely...I kinda felt like that a while back. Now I've figured there's really no point in being sad and hoping and wishing everyday...for something that may not even exist. If it's there and is meant for you...you will have it. Don't go looking for love aimlessly SCS cos maybe someday it'll find u all by itself :)) In the meantime...take up a martial art or yoga *grins* thats what I did ;)

cheerz

great poem! :)
