So there’s no will for you to fight,
I’m losing all of my reality,
I’m confusing day and night.

What’s the point of dreaming?
When waking up gets me nowhere.
I’m not on your agenda,
Coming near me you wouldn’t dare.

Now the years have passed,
Nothing’s changed but my frame is thinner,
I’m stuck in this same place,
You’ve gone and become a winner.

I’ve watched your every moment,
You’ve moved on and grown older.
And I have nothing to show,
but my bones that have grown colder.

Now I sit feeling eloquent,
But really it’s no better.
Hiding behind my lies,
Behind my obsessive letters.

But I’ll stand up on this day,
And try for one last time.
This is the last thing,
My last chance to make you mine. [comments] => 7 [counter] => 352 [topic] => 76 [informant] => Claudia2008 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => obsession )

Wow... With the exception of the really long period of time, I can totally relate... Unfortunately well written... And for what it's worth, I hope you the best of fortune in the future with this person.

Awesome, go for it. All poets are romantics
at heart and I'm sure we're all rooting for
you. Take that chance and if nothing else,
you will no longer have to wonder. Beautiful
poetry, by the way.

i agree that you should make yourself known, if nothing else you may gain a friend..."nothing ventured, nothing gained"...
