my eyes are crying

everything is a mess
since you left,
especially reading
a teardrop you left on my hand

i opened it's window
of a piece of soul
a memory a moment
left untold

i knew how you felt
when our eyes first met
like a flowers golden bloom
on a sacred summers day

and now the rain is falling
the wind is gushing,
washing all the pain
of love once forbidden

hoping for a day
when love will have it's way
to draws us back to that day
for faith to rewrite it's story

thunder bursting
lightning striking
my eyes are crying
for your love,

everything is a mess
since you left,
especially reading

A wonderful choice of word imagery. Your flow is good and the story told is an endearing hope that breaks the heart and fixes it to inspiration.
