Day in and day out...
When i feel at peace,
You call on the could of doubt...

Why do you seek,
All of my flaws...
For words cut like razors,
A tigers claws...

For a moment,
you loved me for better or worse...
Not you''ve deemed yourself,
To fix my curse...

I am not broken,
These words I keep inside...
I don''t need to be fixed,
But the flaws you continue to find...

What can i do,
To try and explain...
I am not you project,
nor should you love me in vain...

Seeking for my self,
A better, brighter way...
Though flawed at times,
There''s more that I portray...

So seek me not,
To fix or refine...
I have been taught,
That I am one of a kind...

absolutly amazing. So true. None of us need to change. Our flaws are our perfections.

I'm not sure who said this but I have found it to be true going through what I'm going through. (its why I haven't given up, though I did try to once)
"We like people for their beauty ,but we love them for their flaws".
We see perfection and we see flaw in everything. Its just whether we are able to see the perfection in the flaw that becomes the testament to love. My wife isn't perfect, but there is perfection in her flaws, as with my kids. Perfection is merely a goal.
Ideed, love will find its way past the flaws and through whatever or however we change. Love is like radiation, it permeates and lasts a very long time...
Great job as always Cat..
Steve

i'm immediately reminded of the biblical quote:

"Judge not, that ye be not judged" (thats the king james version translation)

flaws are what define us, never try to be flawless,

nicely done,

Flaws are part of us. Everybody has them.
I wouldn't be me without them.

I love these lines:

So seek me not,
To fix or refine...
I have been taught,
That I am one of a kind...

I wouldn't change me for anybody.
A very well structured and penned write.
Thanks for sharing it with us.
hugs & prayers,
dreamer
