what is it?

oops

The lust and passion was there
But what was it?
Did it mean love ,care
No just the excitement of the night
Or maybe love at first sight.
What is it when two people glance
And look across,
A crowded room by chance
And feel so strong a feeling.
What is it when two people cannot say
That they will be together forever
But just that night,or maybe next day
Yes maybe perchance just lust.

Time answers that question, but you ask it so very well....
Attraction is very powerful and sometimes over-powering......
You've put a very nice handle on this....
Great write!

I agree with Steve. Attraction CAN be deliciously overpowering. But the
emotion that overwhelms us most, methinks is the feeling that someone finds
us irresistible. Even for a night. It does incredible things for the ego.
Unfortunately, I don't believe that is love though. It's sad that some will take
advantage of one's own insecurities. (And we ALL have them, regardless of
what some believe). I think the question of love or lust greatly depends
upon your gender. At least that is what experience has led me to believe.
Great post! Very thought provoking. ^_^
