The Awful Truth....

The Awful truth

This is my first (and last time)
I will ever tell the truth
I am guilty of the crimes you say
But still you have no proof!

It was me who left the toilet seat
In the upright (male) position
Those fag ends floating in the sink?
Well they were my decision

All those things you loved to hate
Were planted/committed with care
Yet when I tried to speak I lied
And said I wasn’t there

The roller-skate you tripped on?
And then broke both your legs
Was taped and glued securely
And held in place with pegs

Or the time I cut your brake leads
That day; remember; the axe?
Then when you got an electric shock
When you tried to send that fax

What about when the cooker exploded
Ninety percent burns I recall
Or when the “wind” pushed you
Off that building; what a fall!

Why am I telling you now you say?
After this time why now the truth?
It’s because I am feeling guilty dear
Yet still you have no proof!

RagMan
