i search for the thoughts that seem so unreal

i pray to the gods that i might see the light
i pray to myself to hold you tonight

i scream in the woods colours galore
i scream as i finish slamming the door

i cry in the dark, do you cry there too?
i cry for myself and i cry for you

i hit when i feel i'm backed in the corner
i hit when i think my life is a goner

i hold when i'm feeling especially glad
i hold when i know that you feel so sad

i want when i know that it's a tough road ahead
i want when it's hard to get myself out of bed

i kiss when my baby runs through the door
i kiss and it leaves me wishing for more

i sting if you try and get in my way
i sting if perchance i've had a bad day

i cherish you when i know that i've had enough
i cherish the good times and the rough

i think when i have to, give when i can
i think this poem, describes who i am

Dear LadyDama, Inspiration and honesty! A great description of human feelings and behavior... whether they may be rational or irrational, yes? Bizzy 'Clean is beautiful!'
