Needing your love,
To be needed by a chld at any given moment
To fix all.
How can we be selfish and ignore
That neediness.
That feeds our need to be loved.
We know the cliche they are the future
But they are oh so much more.
They are our now ,
Our memories they are our ALL.

Treasure all their wants, cries and joy,
You cannot capture on paper or film
That look of love trust or want
Caught in a moment between unsaid words.
So our priveledge is to instill
A desire to love others and this is not
Just our greatest gift to them but to all mankind.

They are the reason we go on
In this endless wheel of repetiveness
Of our so called life
Hoping it will be better for them. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 246 [topic] => 25 [informant] => Lilymaemax [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => MiscPoems )
