A reason for life, something to live for
Is God behind the whole creation?
Or is it just one big imagination?

He buries his face in his hands
A burden more than he could stand
No other soul on earth can see the way he does
Just why we live, for what cause?

And why still we would kneel
Pray and pray, guilt we still feel
Was it polemically sent?
He wants to know what it meant

Enslaved forever, we join the endless chain
But still he refuses to be lead like sheeps
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust …his final pain
Like him, I can't see God in my desperate weeps

It's hard to see the light at times my friend, especially when the darkness overwhelms you. You know I am here for you to talk to if you want. Also..your poetry always moves me. I have watched as your talent has grown and you have become a true poetic artist! Very well done ! Larry :o)
