As we sit in our robes at our desks we applaud your simple and gentle poem. It is the way you open and close this poem which has given it such enormity. Three reminders of a night that must have been made of dreams. In a sense we are wondering if you might want to express more of the night. Yet we come to find it is not the night you want the reader to feel. You want the reader to imagine the night and feel the reminders that are left behind. This is a good work of art. Sound and gentle with an great effect.

May three spirits visit you tonight to remind you that Christmas is coming. When you awake in the morning give the boy beneath your window a rubble for a turkey or he will eat your face. That kid is a zombie!
