Inscribed in the stone in which we make it, claiming it to be our own.
Oh dare to be different, no the difference brings punishment.
Swift and curt, dare I not be different than the rest of you?

Yes I dare, you cannot handle it...........

I dance to the beat of my own drum, speak truth even if it hurts.
I will not lay down with the white flag, resting over my stilled face.
Nor look at my reflection in the mirror and see a reflection back to me of shame.
There is no shame in being true and living in the truth in which I make.

Shame on you for judging, point the bone stick finger it points back to you.

When the day shifts motionless into shadows, you sit in the dark alone.
Do you sit tall in your chair, or slump like someone dead and old?
Can you sleep in peaceful slumber with the light glow of moon your friend?
Or does those nightmares come back to haunt you over again?

I do believe they do haunt you, day and night and night and day.

Sit with the truth of your own, for it shall never be mine. Wow Michelle.

I am almost afraid to come near for you might bite me, lol! This was very, shall we say than the Michelle I have been reading for over four years. Yes, very different. Your emotional flare is a stab in the eyes of your subject. You have a way with impactful words here. This is emotional, passionate, poetic, and triumphant. Your point is well placed and I think well taken.

Amazing job. Now I am going to go over in the corner and hold onto my teddy bear and suck my thumb. For there is a monster in my closet and here name is Michelle.

SUPERB!

wow Michelle!! DAMN RIGHT!!! lol

I see a very, VERY strong conviction here, but you have always
been one who could ... ah .. hold her own, so to speak. I love the
strength in this. This could be a morning Mantra for those daring
enough to face an indifferent, cold and cruel world!

Well done, sweets! You captured a confidence in this that many
would admire ... and envy. *wink*

Magnificent!!
