Now are days of vastness unfilled
Of what is left, I have to rebuild
Scarecrow to the dreams that I’ve sought
Her reason, I’m still to hear it not
That thing that lives and refuses to die
First by her hand and then with mine
Elemental within great nature’s force
We tried to kill it without remorse
But still, it rises with every day
Too strong to simply make go away
I know that hers hasn’t died moreover
It lies with mine, as if it were stover
They play in the leaves with childish cavort
Conspiring quietly against us, such tort
These entities always will appear
They will not die, they’re what we fear
Sent from Hell, or Heaven above
The little monsters’ names are love

Very Impressive job!
It is a well worded series of riddles that you tie up nicely at the end.
I almost wonder what the piece would be like if you hadn't named it? :)
Well done! |
