old enough to hold her in my arms, but not
So to have my pint of beer; she came smoothly
into my slothful solitary life, made me deem
to be an unbound bird, who can very well fly.

There wasn’t a lane or a joint we didn’t prowled
me ‘nd she played an inseparable role setting fire
Of envy wherever we strolled, my slothful life turned
out be a beautiful song of love, which I sang merrily as
we rod along every road.

As time rolled, we grew older and bolder and did what lads
of my time ever dare to do; we set out on daring ventures, - icy nights
and scorching days matter not to us, until one day; she coldly laid -
motionless, broken and shattered as I held her in my arms
tearfully whispering “good bye to you my love” here again,
me to myself on the dreadful lone long road.

She so beautiful - came into my life as a gift, now lay hit by an
automobile; ‘sigh’ my days on roads never be the same without her;
’O’ she - my beloved bicycle.

Wow, what a trickster. The double meaning
is delivered perfectly, and is beautifully
written. By the way, so sorry for your loss.

Okay, Franco, you bad boy! lol You have done this to us more than once!
I can't believe I fall for it every time. lol (Curse you! j/k)

It's not as easy as it looks to write with such a twist and you do it so
impossibly well, my friend. I was swept away with your words in the
first few stanzas and then found myself "taken" by the last one. *smiles*

Well done to evoke so much passion over a bicycle, poet! lol Your
personification has brought a tear to my eye. *wink*

Perfection, as always!

*thoughts, hugs and prayers*
