Slash on top.
Spill. NO. Stop.
Courage, I want it.
I want blood.
Inside to drop, drip, drop.

Take out the jagged edged crayon.
And try and re-draw the red line.
The color is faded, but I see it.
I want it darker. I NEED it to shine.

Redo and redo and redo.
Scratching on over the surface.
Thinking of why I am drawing.
This picture. WHAT IS IT'S PURPOSE?

Then I stop thinking all together.
Just flick the red pen cross the pale page.
Making corrections, making life better.
Trying to turn off my rage.

I have never been a good artist.
Just scribbles and scrabbles of light pink.
This time I'm sure I'll be better.
This time I'll be drawing dark ink!

My drawing is making my head rush.
Changing my life all together.
Making me confused, happy, mad angry, sad
Crazed, ALIVE. Making me feel...pleasure.

Until I stepped out of this dreamland.
Stared at the paint on the page.
The paint that I stole gladly while it was running blue
through a circular cage.

I wonder if I liked being blue.
I wonder if it liked to run.
I wonder if it was just dying to leave
If it was tired and wanted it done.

Did I do my blood a favor?
Causing it's flow to desist.
I've decided I no longer care anymore.
Just keep dragging the blade cross my wrist.

I am a true artist.
My talents will DAZZLE you.
I am a true artist.
My talents may fighten you. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 306 [topic] => 36 [informant] => LauraMary [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

" I am a true artist. My talents

will DAZZLE you. I am a true

artist. My talents may fighten

you." You are a true gienus,

an artist of deep emptional

ambiguity, i love your intensity

in conveying your writting,

it speaks for itself and needs

no interpentation, all one has

to do is to sucomb, to it's

enjoyment . most lovely work.
