The absence of your consideration

Contributed by iodinelove on Thursday, 28th August 2008 @ 06:35:13 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Hello old friend,

It perplexes me, how often I turn to you to unfold the poorly conceived thoughts that in you forms an unmitigated beauty. Where once condensed, the words dilute, the sentence follows suite, my heart responds in laurels of tears and triumph, and it is all in you, because of you—my will falls broken by you, and I am a pale, infinite madness without you.

Tonight, I write in spite of the absence of your consideration, trying futilely to embrace the immensity of your memory, falling heedlessly into rhymes awkward and undefined.

If a word or the murder of a word had power to conceive you, it would speak softly to convey you, or as the moon stoops to ignite the dew in sand and silver, it would lower itself kindly to awaken you.

In you, my heart finds its love collapsed and stood great distances beneath you. In you, grief and hope become entranced, know that death is near, and do not fear the shadows of its graceful, leering form.

Tonight, I write without you, only to find the eternity of a passing storm, and find the peace of a melancholic swarm of dust, and the remnants of a shattered, glass figurine.

This one makes me think..
I'd like to try something in this direction...
I doubt that I will do as well..
Very good job!

beautifully alluring. . . flows gracefully onto & off the page. . . leaving one suspended hoping that your trail of thought does not end. splendid, indeed. peace. elle
