Protecting love..

Breath was taken in,

flooding when witnessed.
to the last minute..believed in its return.

When breath did not exist..
the soul a fleeting thing,
emptied the room.

To that very moment..
most thought a hollow man...

I leaned in..
touched His hand...
He knew love more than all the lovers.

A beautiful write, Crow... sad ..but good to know he knew loved before he left....that is what is important... Many people do not...
