Lightening his step as he takes vengeance
Against those that have wronged him
As well as rest of this pathetic excuse of the human condition

Crimson eyes glow from shadows cast
From within midnights peril less watch
Silent steps walk by his side
All the while his prey sleep unknowing

While the walls watch silently
Icy fingers claw up a slumbering spine
Nightmares run the mind’s highway like blood thirsty vigilantes
Looking for their next unsuspecting victim

Standing next to dreaming eyes
With their forked tongues demons kiss
The beads of sweat that pour from flushed skin
As peaceful dreams turn dark and demented

When I saw the title, I thought, oh maybe a poem about the movie Tombstone. But noooo. Just kidding. Still like it. Definitely spooky and dark.

Very nice!

Thanks,

Tim
