Who tried to tell you not to settled for that guy Because we both know you deserve better than him? I did that. I'm sorry I forgot your birthday, when I'd only become aware of it's date two days before. I'm sorry I forgot how old you are, even though I don't know how old ANY of my friends are without a great deal of thought. I'm sorry I didn't know something you never told me. I'm sorry I accused you of sending a text message when I received it. I'm sorry I didn't call you back when I had no idea what to say to you in response to the singular most outrageously generous offer I've ever received. I'm sorry that when you were faced with not seeing me again, your first response was not concern for me, but "What am I going to do without you?" I'm sorry that I forget to return phone calls that I don't know I received until it would be too late to return them in the first place. I'm sorry I let you think I don't care. I'm sorry you think don't I care.
