Even thought at times things may seem blue

Thirty years is quite a long time
It must have been quite an overwhelming climb
But you stuck together through thick and thin
Never causing the pressures to make you cave in.
Your love has proven to be one that would last
Even tough at times you wanted to kick his ***
You must have learnt to take the bad with the good
And to be there for your man, as a good wife should..
Through the happiest times or whether you were down
Or when you were smiling, or maybe feeling down...
After all these years since you have said, "I DO"
One thing remains true...
God wrapped his arms around your marraige and truly blessed you...

Jenni, this is so wonderful!!
*wraps arms around poem and squeezes*
They truly ARE blessed. It seems in this day and age, no one stays together long.
It's always a joy to hear of a couple that never gave up. That continues to learn
and grow and LOVE together!! I am always astounded when someone comes
into the shop looking for a 30th plus anniversary cards. In fact a lady came in
the other day looking for a 70th one!! She said it was for her grandparents who
were both in their early nineties and had been together all these years.
Through thick and thin. And I think it's beautiful. People give up too easily
these days I think. And not just in marriage. There are SO many walls ...
Sorry to ramble. In case you hadn't noticed, I ADORE this write. You have
a heart that spills over onto the page in beautiful technicolour when
you write. Superb write hun!! :D
