Array ( [sid] => 144520 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => man of pain [time] => 2008-08-12 15:49:18 [hometext] => [bodytext] => he talks a straight face, he rhymes with no dream
he keeps asking his friends, "shoot me shoot me"
well he is off alone, way down into the gutter
he has no girlfriend and he doesn't know his mother
without his pill popping habit he is not on this earth
he finds the money by looking threw dirt
and when the man becomes a boy
he treats his life like a toy
Uses and uses until he stinks up the one bedroom apartment
used to have goals, but now he has been spent
without his daughter (who he lost years ago)
he is nothing more then a beggar looking for dough
Sometimes we see him walking into a closet full of nails
And then he got caught selling pills, now he is in jail
Without the habit, he is going through withdrawl its hell
Until he finds that he is suddenly called out on bail
"hello employer I am the devil, and I have set you free"
You must work for me or remain in captivity"
So thats how he got that brand on his back
It says, "I have gone deep and I am never coming back"
this is why he doesn't have a job, or go back to school
its the red that has absorbed him, there is no pull
if you ask him what's two plus two he will scream shut the ***** up
he works for the devil and his money still hasn't come up
so why the ***** do you think he is digging his grave
he'd rather die than be this way, and end up insane [comments] => 1 [counter] => 182 [topic] => 13 [informant] => juliestevens18 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
