Array ( [sid] => 144370 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Belle of the Ocean Burning Thus with Fire [time] => 2008-08-04 11:06:57 [hometext] => I did not expect to write a poem of such a passionate and lovemaking nature thus so soon. It is difficult to keep anew and to make it something beautiful as well. This one shall probably be rewritten someday, but… [bodytext] => Anyways, it is full of Hawaiian folklore so I figure I shall help you with some hints: Kanaloa- god of the ocean / Kane - the creator / Pele - Goddess of the Volcano / Lie - goddess of the mountains / Ouli - god who could kill people if prayed to / the Green Lady - No one walks through the grass or the forests of Hawaii without a source of light. Story has it that if you do, a lady in a white dress will appear and scare you. Another story says that if you see her she will kill you. This will happen in any large green plant area, such as a park or forest and only at night.

Personally I think this one is not quite that good. It has potential -but not nearly as well exicuted as Evermore As One or Wrapped About In You but i just wrote it today and will refine it in the future with a fresh mindset.

ok... i have edited this ten times since posted... thats how unfinished i feel it is....

Belle of the Ocean Burning Thus with Fire

The ocean rips its tide about you
Belle upon the wave
Glides you on the swell
Slipping in the curl
Hand within the water
Kanaloa in a passion
Beguiled within your charms
Thrust forth his mighty splendor
To trap and keep you there
But through his arms your slipping
My maiden of the sea
My maiden oh so fair.

I see you dressed in satin
Sea green drops of blue
The water swells in passion
Kissing about you
Wraps you at the waist
Naked in the tide
Your hair like fire cast about
Golden sun-drops chased
Your eyes draw me within their currents
Pulls me to your arms
Holds my eyes to linger
While held in your embrace.

The golden veil wisps freely
Woven willing by the sun
Me gazing down in wonder
Lifting up your face
Lost...
Within your pools
Ouli has slain my heart
Deep within the moment
Your breath comes one with mine
Lips upon yours parted
Dripping thus with passion
Drowning out my soul
Bathing it in waters
My baby makes it whole
Tasting at the droplets
Salty on your cheek
And see that Kane has cast you
A goddess makes me weep.

Oh, that Goddess Lie has formed you
Thus, helping Kane in curves well swept
Casting thus a golden goddess also
My baby full of Pele's fire
Falling in my arms
To bathe...
And kiss, and bless
Drowning in desire
Naked in a sea green dress
I'll hold you ever safely
Well above the mire
Wet caress within my arms
Yet, filling ever wanton
Desire in my heart
While through the fields we wander
The Green Lady held at bay
The brightness of the your heart
The sunshine in your hair
Dims her dress of white
Leaves her in her place.

Oh, poor Kanaloa
Her love you shall not know
And Hinakuluiau, her mother,
Rains tears upon the scene
But shall not be between us
Never between us shall she go
This girl, this goddess thus is mine
Wrapped within my heart
Wrapped within this moment
Wrapped within her there
Knowing we need not
Knowing she is mine
My heart within her hands
Held there within mine.

Oh...
Need I not a chart nor compass
To map hands upon your shores
To feel, to touch…
To wander...
Paths of golden sands
Smooth and languid laying
Trapped within your glass
Warmth upon you burning
Pulsing ‘neath my hands
Paint you with my tongue
A brush gentle as it strokes
The cleft upon your neck
The shadows drip with hues
In tan and reddish blush
Painting ever slowly
Tasting all of you.

Oh, sweet sultry baby girl
My hands map you oh so well
Sliding down the furrow
Oh to feel you rise
With waves that surge and swell
Dripping thus with passion
Leaving you so wet
Pounding thus your heart
Pounding ever closer
Waves foaming all about
So sweet your breath in rasps
Sultry, silken shouts
My name within this moment
My lips within you pause
To kiss upon the oceans
Swelling forth from you
Washing with its blessing
My heart now within you.

Down upon the beach
The stars to bless us so
Laying down upon you
Burning me with fire
Down upon your warmth
Burning ever deeper
Burning within you
Of fires born within
Feeling with the thrust
The waves within you pounding
Pounding ever pounding
Foaming in their guise
Longing ever longing
Lost...
Within your eyes.

Oh, to feel you tremble
Pele’s fires within you burn
Burning in a fever
Quakes about me fair
Quaking in your splendor
Erupting in your fire
Giving forth your passion
Flows in rivers burning
Dripping thus with love
Pulling back your hair
Thrusting forth in passion
My heart does fill you so
Making you thus quiver
Shaking thus with me
Dying in the embers
Resting on the shores
Oh to kiss you boldly
And to hold you there
Dying in the embers
Resting on the shores.
