Told you I couldnt see you without me

It was good for a while we had a little fun

But then it ended and I was left as one

I thought we were good together, that our love was true

Now that its over I can finally see your true blue

I was wrapped up and surrounded by my own fantasies

You were never good enough to make me truly happy

I've been sitting here all day just asking myself why

I finally had to realized you pulled the wool over my eyes

I settled for you and I shouldn't have, that wasn't right

You may have thought I had deeply fallen for you, but sorry your game's not that tight

Then I found out about your daily escapades

I was more mad at myself, Dang I got played!!!

Unlike you I'm able to own up to what I have done

I won't succumb to my anger another battle I have won

Just because something makes you happy dosen't mean you love it

You knocked me down, lesson learned, I've risen above it

I had to stop thinking why, your motives I'll never really know

Maybe it had something to do with male ego

Don't get me wrong I'm not jaded, or cynical now

My love is still out there, they will be found

I never thought that could happen to me man, I really was a fool

You win some, you get laid, now do what it do [comments] => 1 [counter] => 227 [topic] => 22 [informant] => Personifyinthepoeticdream [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

realizing the mistake is t he first step, the next is to truly value yourself and you will find that one person who sees your true worth
