I've been so confused lately
I don't understand my feelings.
They seem so out of character for me.
I'm satisfied with my life in my part of the world,
At times...happy even...
Yet when I'm with this special guy,
An added happiness invades my life.
But it's an invasion that I welcome
With open arms.
With him,
A sense of fulfillment envelops my heart,
A peacefulness engulfs my mind,
A surge of satisfaction enters my body.
Maybe there's a part of my life,
That's never been fulfilled
And never will be.
All I know is that he fills a void in my life.
I feel so very connected to him,
So close, so at ease,
So full of joy.
BUT,
The feeling about which I'm most confused ,
Is the fear I have within my heart...
Afraid that I'll never be the same again,
When, for one reason or another,
We aren't friends anymore.
One thing I'm sure of,
I'll never forget him,
Nor would I ever want to.
Yet, I often wonder,
Why should someone I've never met
Have this effect on me!!

I've been so confused lately

i really like how you put your fear out there with this friend.. and how you expressed it.. this is great expression and wording.. I really think this is a extremely straightforward write.. I like this one alot

| Awe Jenni, emotional connections are the best. I would say to ride it out and try not to think of it inevitably ending! Who knows what may come of this friendship between you and this guy. I am sure he is feeling the same as you by the way. |

Nice write Jenni,
Nothing to be confused about. We all need friends, whether or not we meet them face to face or not. Anyone who is fortunate enough to find a friend that we can connect with in the way you write about should concider themselves blessed.

I know how you feel all too well...You did a beautiful job once again putting your thoughts into words. I have to agree with Crow....let you freind know how you feel because if you miss the chance who knows if you will ever be granted another. Great job.
