silent but she is there.
I could almost hear her laughter
floating through the canyons
drifting into the muddy stream
then at once gone, moving like the wind.

Shivering in the heat of sun
thinking of fading memories
laughter I thought I heard
like the wind, here then there
she is gone, she couldn’t stay.

Maybe its her whisper
that crawls near my pillow at night
rises me from sleep
snakes beneath the covers
then floats out the window
brushing lacy curtains

One can never be sure
such a strong force once in life
maybe her spirit does float
light like the wind
I hear her voice
I remember echo………………

Absolutely beautiful write. Isn't it amazing how close some one can seem even long after they have left us?

Thanks for sharing such beauty.

Oh sweetie, I think this is some of your VERY best work!! I adore this. So soft and gentle-
like a tender caress in the middle of the night. Like a gentle kiss from a lover's timid lips.
You captured the beauty of memory so well, hun and with such a poetic flare. There isn't
a thing in this I could single out, for it is altogether captivating and gorgeous!

Missing someone can bring out such magnificent thoughts, no?

*huge hugs*

~ Breezy

Another brilliant piece. I have always enjoyed reading your work and I always will. I have to agree that this might be some of your best work though. Your imagery is amazing...draws the reader in.

forgive me please for my stupidity.
