She is magic…
Amanda dressed in dew
Spelling out her blessings
Cast upon the wire
A voice that parts the night
Dancing in a dream
Crying in the mire.

I see her venture slowly
Walking in a dream
Drifting in the meadow
Rain patters on the scene
Laying down her tresses
Raven wet about her shoulder
Full upon her breasts.

Green and gray the mists
Reflecting mystic warmth
Deep within her eyes
Brown and golden pools
Drawing me within
Swimming in their sadness
Diving deep to seek
The treasure that is her…
Held within her depths.

She can all but whisper
A whisper as she speaks,
“God has sent me this
Washed and bathed my feet
Praying in my heart
To hold as one as thee
Hand clasped deeply into mine
To take me to his home
Walking one with him
Walking not as three.”

Her voice casts out its spell
A song within the meadow
And I can sweetly taste it
A muse who’s honey drips
From birds hidden deep in shadow
Sheltered in the mists.

The warmth within the grayness
Cast within the sky
Raining without madness
Upon the weeping grass
Long and all about us
Green and luscious fields
Towering all about us
Filling this abyss
Weeping down in love
Begging to be kissed.

And yet, it is hot
Steamy...
Sticky, sultry
Staring in her eyes
Feeling the earth tremble
But deeply from inside
Holding me not back
Quaking from within
Hand reached out and folded
Deep within her hair
So damp, so cool, so luscious
A deep and brilliant black
Twined within my fingers
Drawing forth my passion
Head within my hand
One about her back.

Pull her to me softy
Firmly my embrace
Lost within her brilliance
Kissing droplets on her face
Parting lips so tender
A beg...
A love, a kiss
On lips so full and wanton
Oh how this I must kiss
First upon her lids
Brushing down her cheek
Brushing lip to lip
Plunging ever deeper
My soul upon her mouth
With lips my own that tremble
Letting passions out.

I feel a veil within the moment
Curtained in this rain
Gazing at her beauty
Slender, full, and loving
Naked… dripping wet
Slaying me to passion
My face upon her breasts
Dripping with her tears
Mingles rain within its potion
Kissing down her neck
Casts us to the ocean.

Us within this brook
Now raging as a river
Gives us full its pleasure
Wrapped within its furrow
While lying down upon you
Down upon this stone
Edges worn by masons
This river placed to work
Giving us this alter…
This treasure…
This place that we make love
Thrusting in the waters
Oh to hear her moan
Filling with the rapture
Birthing tears my own.

Filling her my passion
Deeper now as one
Trembling in this river
Forming one her own
Flowing with her magic
Screaming out as one
Turning us to fluid
Floating us away
Now we are the river
Together now as one
Ever in her magic
Evermore...
...as one. [comments] => 7 [counter] => 230 [topic] => 2 [informant] => wheels [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

This is a stunning write. On one hand I felt as though I was seeing something extremely private, and on the other I didn't want it to end. I probably should not have read it while at work, ha. Thank you for this.

Whoa! Kevin, this is SO sensual!!! But in the most refined way. It's a combination
of desire, lust, love and release. It is a myriad of emotion and presented in a rainbow
of tastes. I would liken it to a meal that one savours with the mind before allowing it to
pass over the pallet. It waters the mouth with the anticipation of what is to be enjoyed
presently.

Beautiful work. I adore the final stanza, although the entire piece is just a gorgeous
depiction of consummation-the perfectness of being complete and absorbed by the
most lovely and eloquent moments in human existence. Well done!! :)
