We wish upon the moonbeams glow for a love to sit close by
A soul mate that will share our life and happiness abound
A kiss of sweet surrender as we lay close upon the dewy ground

Dew drops glisten like sparkling diamonds upon our grassy bed
While the summer breeze cools the days lingering heat
Listening to the silence of our thoughts as we forget everything that had been said
And it is within these dreams where star-crossed lovers do meet

In the moments of the twilight hour two hearts spill free
Mesmerized in loves fire carrying away into the galaxy
In the softness of the shadows blushing lips do meet under the old oak tree
As two hearts, two souls, and two bodies intertwine in ecstasy

Starry eyes stare upon glistening bodies lying still in steamy breath
Dreaming of eternity together beyond the grave, beyond the hand of Death
The world around them they care not, only for the other’s caress
As their union under heaven the stars and moon do bless

just the title. Then I read it and wow. then
took it apart, 1st line, 3rd line - 2nd line, 4th
line, all three of these poems are just
incredible writes. You two are a winner apart
and together.........Mike
