saw you walking by ,
during 3rd period break.
Caught your smile out the corner of my eye.
A rush of joy bellowed through my mind,
My breath began to shorten,
and my heartbeat quickened.

For four years ive chased you,
waiting for that perfect day.
My feelings were never easy to explain.
but always meant for you , difficult to contain.

I watch the flowers on the ground sway as you walk by them.
Cant you see what you do to me?
how Part of me dies when you look away from me.
How I stand here longingly waiting...
waiting for you to notice me.
waiting for you to need me.

Here in the halls, Ill lay down my heart.
But you wont feel it,
cause I cant make your heart feel something it doesnt know.
With every smile and every minute that passes , ill endure the pain
of not knowing what might have been.
In the back of my mind I ponder consequences,
as my lonley heart breaks in the distance.

MY emotions are something I will always hide, though
Ill always love you more than youll ever know.
Your memory forever locked away in my heart, never to fade.
I wont give up this fight
Someday i'll show you.
Someday you'll know.
