Array ( [sid] => 143600 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Jillian's Smile [time] => 2008-06-30 21:34:18 [hometext] => This poem is about my Godchild...she is truly beautiful with the most amazing smile. I fell in love with that smile when she was a baby and it still has the same effect today. She is now in High School. We love you Jillian. [bodytext] => ~~*~~

Jillian’s Smile

Congratulations, to some friends I’d bring
When I met this little bit-of-a-thing
Her smile wide, and like the sun
With this my heart had come undone

It made it seem there was no wrong
This world at peace from dawn to dawn
And that very peace crept over me
I knew at once, quite instantly

To watch her grow from then to now
And in my heart I knew somehow
Still to this day with her I see
It has that same effect on me

For with the smile that’s on her face
This Earth is sure a better place
As all within this poem employs
Her smile brings forth some special joys

And there’s not enough here, to be read
In these few words of her I’ve said
For when I speak about our Jillian
She is the one…that’s in a million

A beautiful tribute to Jillian.. I am sure she loves and appreciates this... It is lovely to have someone who brings joy to your life like she does...
