While burdened hearts are lightened as troubles float away on ocean swells
And the empty canvas that hangs upon the tall masts fill with the gentle breeze under a matching sky

Off in the distance faded islands sit like the troubles that float away
And seagulls circle like angels watching over the wandering soul
As well into the evening they watch until the night gives birth to a new day

As dolphins give chase after which the wandering soul soon does follow
For what blessings and promises does the new mourn’ hold
For nightmares give way to pleasant dreams that no longer feel hollow

Mile after mile the horizon seems never-ending
Like the hope that rests upon a prayer
With every second in peace and tranquility this found soul is spending

For what rests at the end of the rainbow after a storm has passed
For that is where dreams are found waiting to enter Heaven
Although this life will die something’s for all eternity will last

RIch,
I am so happy to see this light hearted write.
Things will keep being brighter and brighter for the both of us I know. Keep writing and keep smiling my friend.

Huggers
Michelle

Magnificent piece of writing. The ink in your pen is blessed.
